Our big construction project in Tanzania

We have bought a piece of land in Mugumu where we are building a vocational training college, dormitories for the students, two safe houses for orphans, a chapel and an administration building. Here you can read about what has already been done and what is currently being realized.

So far, we have been able to build a chapel, a school building, a safe house for orphans and a kitchen building with donations alone. But we have not yet reached our goal. If you share our passion for helping young people find a way out of crime and prostitution and improve their lives and the lives of their families through education, we would be very grateful for your support.

This is what our buildings should look like:

Vocational Training College

Many young people live in Tanzania. They are talented, creative and full of ideas. But most of them do not have any occupational prospects. Many young women end up in prostitution or become work slaves. We would like to change this and help these women.

We are currently building a vocational training college in Mugumu to be able to offer various professions there, e.g. training in the technical field.

At the moment, we are offering training as a sewer in order to give especially young women from poor backgrounds the chance of a better future. In addition to the main subject of sewing, we also teach them other subjects such as basic life skills (hygiene, how to solve conflicts, how to deal with finances, how to start a business, etc.), English, computer courses and biblical principles.

We want to support the skills and gifts that God has given these young people.

In the end, they will be able to earn their own money with their sewing machine.

Would you like to become a student sponsor?

School Sponsorship – Enabling Education. Changing the Future.

We believe that education is the key to real change.

At the WorldChanger Vocational Training Center in Tanzania, young people are given the opportunity to learn a trade and build an independent future.

To enable as many students as possible to attend school, we work with the 80/20 model:

Students pay 80% of the actual school fees themselves. The remaining 20% is financed through a shared school fee fund.

Students from particularly difficult backgrounds can – after review by the Tanzanian social services department – even receive funding of 50% to 100%.

The school fees cover, among other things, the following costs:

• Teaching materials
• Teacher salaries
• School meals

How you can support us:

School sponsorship “Partner”

• €50 per month (or more ) for two school years (equivalent to the duration of an apprenticeship)
• Your donation goes into the school fees fund and thus supports every student
• You will receive 2-4 newsletters per year by email or post with regular insights into daily school life and stories from students at our school

->  Let's invest together in education, dignity, and sustainable prospects for the next generation, because:

Education is a crucial path out of poverty

Of course, a donation receipt will be issued for your donation in the following year.

If you would also like to support young people with a school sponsorship, please feel free to email our colleague Clara Neubert: schulpate@weltbeweger.eu
She will be happy to explain how it works.
